Whale watching in Los Cabos

Avistamiento de Ballenas
Diciembre a Abril solamente

This is a must if you are comming for vacations between December and April. Humpback whales come every year all the way from Alaska, to give birth in the warm waters of Baja California Sur.

You will be able to see them from the beach, specially in hotels located outside Cabo San Lucas Bay. Also whales can be seen if you take a snorkeling or a sunset cruise. But the best way to really enjoy them is taking a specialized cruise for whale watching. For two hours, you are able to see them closer.
Humpback whales are the most acrobatic of all whales. They like to jump all the way out of the water, and they make a big big splash.

If these tours are not enough, you may want to spent a day trip to Magdalena Bay, one of the 3 sanctuaries for the Gray Whales in the Baja California Peninsula, among Guerrero Negro and Ojo de Liebre.
Magdalena Bay is the closest from Cabo San Lucas, either you can go by plane, or save some money and go by road.
