Scuba Diving in Cabo Pulmo
Cabo Pulmo is probabbly the biggest and richest coral reef on the west coast, with more than 800 species of tropical and subtropical fishes.
Declared Natural Preserve in 1995, in 2000 was ranked to National Park and now is part of the protected areas by UNESCO along with the islands of the Gulf of California.
Visibility is the key of this dive, usually well over 150 ft, and temperature is excellent during summer.
Cabo Pulmo is a small village on the East Cape, where fortunatelly, Civilization has not conquer yet. No power lines, no paved road, no tap water, etc. and because of this, the coral reef remains untouched.
We will take you by land to Cabo Pulmo about 2 hours drive from Cabo San Lucas or 90 minutes from San Jose del Cabo.
Once in town, we will check our equipment and take a panga boat to the first dive spot, about 50 ft deep. After a break, we will get to the second spot for our last dive about 60 ft.
At our return to Cabo Pulmo, our delicious fish tacos will be ready while we clean the equipment.
