Cabo Pulmo Snorkel Expedition
Cabo Pulmo is an isolated off-grid community about 2 hours driving from Cabo San Lucas (last 30 minutes it’s a dirt road).
In 1994 Mexican Authorities designated Cabo Pulmo as a National Park with the help of family Castro and ecological organizations.
Since then, locals changed activities from commercial fishing to ecological preserve the area for tourism. Marine life has recuperated and today, it’s one of the greatest places to dive or snorkel in the world.
This is an all day tour, but it is worth.
The trip to Cabo Pulmo is on a comfortable AC mini bus, and some snaks will be provided.
We will pass by small towns closed to Sierra de La Laguna, where we get most of the drinking water in all south tip of the Baja California Peninsula
Just 30 minutes before arriving, it’s where the pavement finish, and will go off roaming along the coast with excellent views.
At Cabo Pulmo, we will gear up and get on board a panga heading to a shallow area in Cabo Pulmo called Arbolitos to explore the coral reef.
If we are lucky, many sea turtles will be there.
After snorkeling, we will have a great lunch in one of the local restaurants.
